Hi everyone,

As you are probably aware the site has been having a few problems recently, where the account was disabled by the hosting company. They claim that SerenBaban was using up all their resources, and they had to close it down else it would affect other people on the same server.

We have no idea what is causing the issue, so in an attempt to sort it out I am going to have to upgrade the software that runs the site.

Unfortunately this is far more complicated that it sounds. I am currently downloading a backup of the site that I can use on my home server to try the upgrade without potentially crashing & losing the whole site. If it is successful I will upgrade the site.

When I do that, SerenBaban will be unavailable for the duration of the upgrade & I will post a message saying as much.

OK this is NOT going according to plan. As soon as I perfrom the upgrade the forums all die.

Can't be arsed - will look again tomorrow.
